Ry not Ty sorry! When I saw Muddy play here in Chicago he was loud…his Fender Super Reverb amp was set with volume treble and bass all on “7”! He also patted the guitar really made it thump, like Charlie Patton!
Ty has a gentle touch and likes to play at a low volume…that colors his perception when he’s listening to records. Here in Chicago I saw Earl Hooker play loud out of a Fender Twin with an SG…he was an endless fountain of riffs and melody…I never heard him repeat anything unlike Muddy or Elmore!
