Early Interviews With the Glam-Band Co-Guitarists
These podcasts present early-in-their-careers interviews with Warren DeMartini and the late Robbin Crosby. At the time of these conversations, their band Ratt had released their self-titled EP and their first full-length album, Out of the Cellar. Their hit song “Round and Round” was climbing the charts and its video was in regular rotation on MTV. Both of these interviews formed the basis of my introductory profile of Ratt in the August 1984 issue of Guitar Player magazine,
Together, these never-before-released interviews provide insight into the inner-working of one of the era’s foremost glam bands, such as how Robbin and Warren decided who’d play what part, the guitars and other gear they used, and the differences in their styles.
